I've been watching a lot of DOHA and All England games this weekend.
Yes, I know I have a test coming up soon.
First, DOHA.
Congratulations to Bryan Clay ( Olympic Champion)
and Trey Hardee (World Champion)
For emerging as Champion and Runner-Up (respectively)
in the Men's heptathlon.
It is quite clear that I am a US supporter.
One more, Lolo Jones, cool huh her name?
After almost being eliminated in the semi finals, she pulled through and not only was champion, but set a world record for the indoor championship for women's 60 m hurdles.
Again , an American.
To the one that got me on the edge of my seat,
Yelena Isinbayeva
This Olympic Champion almost didn't qualify!!!
She skipped the earlier heights and only decided to jump the last one.
Pole Vault btw.
She jumped the first, to everyone's surprise, knocked down the pole.
Second try, commentator said would definitely be an ease for the Champion.
She was wrong, She failed once again.
Then it hit her that she could repeat history and be cut at the qualifying round.
She held on to her coach's hands for a long time and was almost in tears.
Pulling herself together, she gave her last shot and Succeeded.
Everyone cheered.
Too lazy to blog bout All England edi.
Let's just hope and pray that Lee Chong Wei get's his fist title ok?
